Local authorities of a town near to Manchester in the United Kingdom found the crematories overusing energy without any particular advantage. Therefore, in their opinion, the energy produced during cremation should be used to warm up the crematories and nearby chapels.
The German Green Party, interested in the methane produced by feces of cows, demans Bavarian farmers to pay a special tax from each cow "flop" left by their animals.

Press conference with formal presentation of the Diplomas to the Laureates of a national edition of the European Award "Bussiness for Environment" Contest. The ceremony will take place at the Private Employers' Confederation "Lewiatan" home in Warsaw.
The Kostrzyca FGB is a winner in the national edition of the contest, and a polish candidate to the European Awards "Bussiness for Environment" in a category III: Process.

A gene, regulating the aquirement of carbon dioxide by plants, was discovered. It may enable the genetic experiments increasing the level of absorption of carbon dioxide from atmosphere. The gene influences also the absorption of water by plants.
